How To Calculate The Displacement Of A Warping Machine?

The displacement calculation of a warping machine is primarily determined based on yarn density, raw material characteristics, and equipment parameters.

A common formula for calculating the displacement of a slitting warping machine is: warp density (D) divided by 0.63 multiplied by 0.000076. This formula is applicable to most common yarn raw materials.

In practical applications, the displacement is also affected by factors such as yarn tension, twisting degree, and oiling treatment. For example, yarns with a higher twisting degree occupy more space, requiring appropriate adjustments to the displacement.

For a fixed-cone slitting warping machine, a simplified calculation formula can be used: F = 6.5 × (warp density × D ÷ 0.63 × 0.00007). This simplified formula works well on the SG168C computer-controlled slitting warping machine.

Different raw materials require different packing coefficients (f). For example, the f value for pure cotton yarn is 0.028, and for polyester yarn it is 0.027. These coefficients will affect the final displacement calculation result.
